Where applicable, PCP also acknowledges its obligations to users located in the European Union under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

SMS & Mobile Communications

WhatsApp and email are PCP’s primary communication channels. SMS may be used when WhatsApp is unavailable. Message frequency will vary. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

Sharing Your Information

• With our property management software provider (Lodgix), to manage reservations and availability
• With our accounting service provider, strictly as required for financial record-keeping and tax compliance in Costa Rica
• With legal or regulatory authorities, if required by applicable law

All third-party service providers engaged by PCP are contractually required to protect your personal information and may only use it for the specific purpose for which it was shared.
Data Security
PCP implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Payment information is processed exclusively through Stripe’s secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure. PCP does not store credit card numbers on its own systems.
Despite these measures, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. In the event of a data breach that may affect your rights, we will notify affected individuals in accordance with applicable law.
Data Retention
PCP retains personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Reservation records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years to comply with Costa Rican tax and commercial law requirements. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to any legal retention obligations that may apply.

Regardless of your country of residence, you have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
