Zipline. River Tubing. Horseback. Hot Springs. Mud Bath. At the Foot of RincΓ³n de la Vieja.
Hacienda Guachipelin sits at the edge of RincΓ³n de la Vieja National Park and has built one of the most comprehensive adventure circuits in Costa Rica around that extraordinary setting. A full day here covers four distinct activities, one after the other, with a buffet lunch and hot springs access woven in between.
The zipline circuit runs across eight cables with climbing walls, hanging bridges, and Tarzan swings that send you over canyon crossings and a rushing river β the full circuit, not a sampler. From there, the group saddles up for a 45-minute guided horseback ride through the lush volcano foothills, before the afternoon’s most distinctive activity: river tubing on the RΓo Colorado β over five kilometers in a personal tubing raft, guided downstream with your group by certified river guides.
The day closes at the RΓo Negro Hot Springs: ten mineral pools naturally heated by the volcano below, each at a slightly different temperature. A volcanic mud bath using mud drawn from the earth nearby is the final chapter before the buffet lunch and the ride home.
Minimum age 8 years. Minimum group of 4 people required. Participants should be in good physical condition β the day involves significant terrain, climbing, hiking, and activity variety. Departure time varies by pickup area β inquire when booking.
