1,500 Acres of Guanacaste Backcountry. No License Required.
A 1.5-hour guided ATV ride across 1,500 acres of untouched Guanacaste ranchland — through winding jungle trails, creek crossings, dusty mountain paths, and open terrain that few visitors ever reach. The route passes through Santa Rosa Village, a small local community where guests briefly meet residents before climbing to elevated viewpoints with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and the rolling ranchlands below.
Wildlife along the route is plentiful: howler monkeys, iguanas, tropical birds, and occasionally wild horses grazing in the open fields. A bilingual guide accompanies the group throughout, managing the pace and pointing out wildlife and points of interest. No driving license is required — minimum age to operate the ATV is 17 years. Passengers are welcome: add a Double Up passenger seat to any adult ATV booking for $31 per passenger.
After the ride, the Black Stallion base camp pool and café are available to unwind.
