This is a full-day commitment to the Black Stallion Ranch — and it earns every hour.
It starts with the canopy zipline: nine cables, 11 platforms, and the 580-meter mountain-to-mountain showpiece cable with panoramic Pacific Ocean views. Professional bilingual guides lead the group through every platform with a complete safety briefing before departure. After the zipline, the group transitions to horseback — a 2-hour guided ride through the ranch trails, open fields, and scenic mountain paths led by an authentic local cowboy who shares the stories and traditions of Guanacaste ranch culture as you ride.
As the sun drops over the Pacific, the BBQ fires up at the ranch. The dinner spread is generous: grilled chicken, ribs, steak, and pork alongside fresh salads, tropical desserts, and an open bar stocked with cold beer, house wine, and the ranch’s signature sangria. Fruit juice is available for non-drinkers and younger guests.
Departure is at 2:30 PM from your property — pickup may be earlier depending on your area. Transportation is included from Tamarindo and Hacienda Pinilla. Guests in other areas should inquire about transportation options.
